Fire Door Installation and Office Refurbishment for a Trusted Client

Fire Door Installation and Office Refurbishment for a Trusted Client

Fire safety and a professional working environment go hand in hand, and this recent project saw our team deliver both. Working with a long-standing client, we carried out the installation of new fire doors throughout their commercial premises alongside the complete refurbishment of two office spaces.

Fire doors are a fundamental part of any commercial building’s safety infrastructure. They are designed to compartmentalise a building in the event of a fire, slowing the spread of flames and smoke and providing vital extra time for evacuation. Every fire door we install meets the relevant British Standards and is fitted by experienced, qualified contractors to ensure it performs exactly as intended. On this project, we installed a mix of dark grey fire doors with narrow vision panels and timber fire doors with glazed inserts, each selected to complement the overall design of the building whilst meeting full compliance requirements. Door closers, ironmongery and signage were all fitted as part of the installation.

Alongside the fire door work, we refurbished two office spaces on the upper floor of the building. Both rooms were taken back to shell and finished to a high standard, ready for the client to furnish and occupy. The refurbishment included new suspended ceiling tiles with integrated air conditioning cassettes, dark patterned carpet tiles, freshly plastered and painted walls, new skirting boards, power and data points, and modern fire-rated doors at each entrance. Large windows flood the spaces with natural light, creating bright, comfortable working environments.

Combining essential compliance work with aesthetic improvements is something we do regularly at Iconic Edge Group. There’s no reason fire safety upgrades can’t sit alongside a smart, contemporary finish — and our clients expect both.
