Bespoke Church Joinery for an Existing Client

Church Joinery & Refurbishment

Working on historic and heritage buildings is always a privilege, and this recent project was no exception. Our team was called upon by an existing client to carry out specialist joinery work at a traditional stone church, delivering craftsmanship that respects the character of the building whilst meeting modern standards.

The centrepiece of this project was the installation of a stunning set of bespoke timber double doors, fitted within the original Gothic pointed stone archway. Crafted from rich, warm-toned hardwood with detailed panel work and small glazed inserts, the doors were finished with polished brass pull handles that complement the period features of the building beautifully. A glazed fanlight above the doors allows natural light into the entrance, completing the look.

Church buildings and other heritage properties demand a particular level of care and attention. The materials, methods and finish all need to be sympathetic to the existing architecture, and there’s very little room for error when working within original stone surrounds. Our time-served joiners have the skills and experience to take on projects like this with confidence, ensuring the finished result looks as though it’s always been there.

This is exactly the kind of work that sets Iconic Edge Group apart. We don’t just handle large-scale commercial fit outs and refurbishments — our general joinery services cover everything from bespoke door installations and timber frames through to repairs and restoration work. Whatever the setting, from modern offices to centuries-old churches, we bring the same commitment to quality.

If you have a joinery project that requires skilled craftsmanship, whether it’s a heritage building or a commercial premises, get in touch with our team today.
